What is holding you down?

A client of mine once said that the worst nutritional information she ever learned was during the low-fat craze.  She had such a fear of eating fat that she ended up paralyzed and the weight kept creeping on. Her success came when she took her power back, stopped listening to forces outside of herself, and focused on the skills she excelled at and learned new ones to support herself. She is a testimony to what anyone can achieve when balance and reflection is discovered from within.

Everyone has preconceived ideas about food, some are good and some are slightly skewed.  Falling victim to the latest diet/nutrition trends is a difficult thing to avoid primarily because of the amount of attention people give to it. The media talks about weight, you talk about weight, your friends talk about weight, your family talks about weight, and the government talks about weight.  Enough already!   Are you ready to let go of the excuses and the chatter around you and make a lasting change?

The truth is, what you learned about food and are learning about food impacts your life everyday.  Why not use the power within you and knowledge of the positive to make a change? You can enjoy food, have fun with food, and lose weight.  Your first step is to make a commitment to yourself and believe that you feel good from the very first day of your personal weight-less journey.   You may have to give up some of the ideas and things you learned along the way.  And hopefully be excited to learn new knowledge, new skills, and new experiences to make you feel weight-less.

Stop and think.  What tools do you already possess? What new tools do you need for your weight-less journey?  Do you need to learn how to make a menu?  Do you need to move more without it feeling like exercise?  Do you need cooking basics?  Do you need a game plan that uses your time and energy in the best way?  Do you need to bring food ritual back into your life?  Do you have a family to feed?  Do you want to learn how to use the principles of eating local with being thrifty?  Do you enjoy eating out and want to continue?  Do you want to have new food experiences?  Do you want to plant a kitchen garden? Do you need the support of others?  What is it that you need to find balance?  These are all questions that we help you discover, uncover, and resolve in a fun and positive way. Your journey to becoming weight-less can start right now at this very moment.   Connect with us and find your way.
